Sound Devices is a group of audio nerds based in Reedsburg and Madison, Wisconsin. Like you, we have an obsession for quality, a commitment to innovation, and a love for clean, crisp sound. We also love gear – designing equipment is our form of art. In 1998, we founded this company to bring you gear that helps you capture your creative vision in superior audio. Over the years, you’ve used our products to do some of the most interesting work in the audio industry. You’ve taken our gear to work on the sets of award-winning movies, TV shows, and documentaries, such as LaLaLand, The Revenant, Mad Max: Fury Road, Game of Thrones, and many, many more. You’ve recorded pristine audio on the world’s highest mountains, in the hottest deserts, in humid rainforests and deep underwater.
